🚨 New Features: Tag Exclusions for Announcements & Editing a Scheduled Message/Note

Tag Exclusions

You can now create more precise Announcement audiences by choosing Tags to include and exclude.

Previously, Tags could only be used to select contacts you wanted to include. Now, you can start with an audience and then remove contacts based on specific Tags.

For example, you could:

Include: Current Customers
Exclude: Past Due

Your Announcement would be sent to contacts tagged as Current Customers, except anyone who is also tagged Past Due.

When selecting multiple Tags, you can also choose Match Any or Match All independently for your included and excluded Tags.

Captivated will update your audience and estimated recipient counts as you make selections so you can review who will receive your Announcement before sending.

For more complex audiences, Advanced Targeting allows you to combine multiple Tag rules and groups.

Editing Scheduled Messages/Notes

Scheduled a message and spotted a typo—or need to make a quick change before it sends? You can now edit scheduled messages before they’re sent.

Previously, changing a scheduled message meant canceling it and creating a new one. Now, you can make changes directly from the conversation while keeping your message scheduled

What’s New

Select the Edit option on a scheduled message to:

  • Edit the message text to fix a typo or update your wording.

  • Add or remove attachments before the message sends.

  • Add a contact card to a scheduled message.

  • Adjust the scheduled send time if your timing needs to change.

If you’re only changing the content, your original scheduled send time stays the same.

Once you’ve finished editing, select Schedule to save your changes.

Tip: You can make updates anytime before the scheduled message is sent, making it easier to plan messages ahead of time without worrying about having to start over if something changes.
