Updated Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions June 2026

We have updated our Terms & Conditions to better reflect how Captivated is offered, configured, and billed as our platform continues to evolve.

 

These updates support the upcoming release of our new public pricing and quoting experience, which will make it easier for customers to understand plan options, messaging commitments, launch support, optional add-ons, and usage-based services.

 

The revised Terms & Conditions include updated language around:

  • Subscription Plans — clarifying how plans such as Starter, Engage, Choice, and Pro may include a Core License and Messaging Commitment.

  • Messaging Usage — clarifying included message volumes, additional usage, carrier-related fees, and advanced messaging options such as RCS/RBM.

  • Optional Monthly Add-Ons — explaining that certain add-ons may be shown during quoting or launch planning but are not activated or billed unless included in a signed order, service order, addendum, or approved account update.

  • Launch Support and Professional Services — distinguishing standard launch assistance from custom development, advanced workflow setup, complex integrations, or specialized data work.

  • Text Lines and Channels — clarifying that local and toll-free text lines are communication channels and do not create licenses for additional locations, branches, markets, or public-facing brands.

  • Multi-Location and Affiliated Organizations — updating language for customers with multiple locations, brands, franchise structures, affiliates, or acquired companies.

  • AI-Assisted Features — adding terms for AI Conversation Summaries and other AI-assisted tools, including customer responsibility for reviewing AI-generated outputs.

  • Service Orders and Addendums — clarifying how future changes, add-ons, additional locations, integrations, text lines, or professional services may be approved and billed.

These changes are intended to make our Terms & Conditions more consistent with the way Captivated is sold and supported today, while also preparing for our upcoming pricing tool and future service-order workflows.

 

No action is required unless otherwise communicated. Continued use of Captivated after the effective date of the updated Terms & Conditions constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
