Text Us & Live Chat Website Widget Leads

“Text Us” Website Button

You can add Captivated’s website widget to your site to enable your customers to text you or chat with you from your website. Website leads route directly into Captivated and your response to the website visitor’s message will go directly to their mobile phone, so that they can pick up a conversation with your business anytime. The “Text us” option prompts your website visitor to fill in their name and number, so you already know who you are texting with when you receive their inquiry.

 

 

If you are have included both “Text us” and “Live chat” options on your widget, the widget will look like the following image when opened by a website visitor.

 

 

Note: the welcome message “Hi there! 👋” and sub-text message “If you have any questions while browsing…” are both customizable. If you would like yours adjusted, simply reach out to the Captivated Support team to request those changes.

 

 

If you’d like a pop-up window with customizable text added to your website button for either Text, Live Chat or both, contact Captivated Support to get one set up.

 

Live Chat

 

If your team has Live Chat, you can optionally collect a website visitor’s name and phone number. If you’d like to make the phone number a required field for Live Chat, just let Captivated Support know. 

If your team is only available to take Live Chats from the queue during certain hours of the day, you can set up your queue’s hours of availability so that the “Live Chat” option will be unavailable outside of your queue’s specified hours.

Website visitors can download a copy of their transcript within the chat window.
