To request a payment, select the more menu under the message field and select “Request Payment”.
Fill in the payment amount, reference number and payment description. Be sure to add a message before sending. Your sent message arrives to the recipient with a link that redirects them to your secure checkout page where they can pay with card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. With Express Pay, you can also pay via ACH.
Once the customer has made the payment, they will receive an email receipt and the receipt of payment will show up directly in Captivated. If you own the conversation or are joined to it, you will be notified of the received payment.
You can also view all of your payments in Captivated via the “Payments” section of the dashboard. Like the general dashboard, you can view payments made between a specific range of dates and you can filter your payments by paid, unpaid, and canceled using the Status filter. You can also search for a payment by the reference number. The message icon to the far right of the payment will allow you to view the payment directly in the conversation.
If you are an Administrator, you can set up an account for your business under Administration > View Payment Providers > + Add Provider.
